CBS News Exclusive: Norah O’Donnell interviews Pope Francis in Rome

Norah O’Donnell, anchor and managing editor of the CBS EVENING NEWS, speaks exclusively with Pope Francis in Rome ahead of the Vatican’s inaugural World Children’s Day. Tonight (Wednesday, April 24) on the CBS EVENING NEWS, the historic discussion with the supreme pontiff will air as O’Donnell anchors a special edition of the broadcast overlooking the Vatican.

The pope shares his reflections on the state of the world as he prepares to celebrate the first World Children’s Day in Rome, May 25-26 – an event created to highlight the new generation as the hope for the future.
